Celebrating the sacraments is at the core of our parish life. Our big moments in life are marked in a solemn way.
Here we provide all the details for the celebration of the sacraments in our parish.
Funeral Arrangements
Funerals are arranged through the chosen undertakers. The undertaker local to the parish are Bourke’s Undertakers, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7. Phone: 01 677 9160.
Baptism Arrangements
Baptisms are celebrated in the parish on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month following the 12 pm Mass. To book a Baptism please contact the parish office by emailing halstonst@gamil.com or phoning 01 873 0675.
Baptism bookings will be considered ‘provisional’ until a copy of the birth certificate and all the required details are submitted.

Marriage Arrangements

Confirmation
Confirmation is celebrated each year in our parish. The Parish works closely with the Principals and teachers of Presentation Primary School George’s Hill and St Paul’s Primary, North Brunswick Street to help the children prepare for this important sacrament. We usually celebrate this sacrament in March each year and dates are agreed with the schools in the Autumn.

Eucharist and First Communion

Reconciliation (Confession)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on request before or after Mass. We also have reconciliation service in Advent and Lent. Details of these are published in closer to the time.

Housebound and Sacrament of the Sick
Every First Friday of the month, the priests visit the sick and housebound in the parish. If you are unable to attend Mass due to illness or frailty and would like to be visited by a priest on the First Friday, please feel free to contact the Parish Office, Tel: 01 873 0576, to be included on the First Friday visits.
