Halston Street Parish
Preparations are underway for our Confirmations and we look forward to welcoming the pupils from Presentation Primary School, George’s Hill to the Church this coming Saturday (5th of September 2020). St Paul’s Brunswick Street have their ceremonies on Saturday 12th (Mr. Howard’s Class) and 19th of September (Mr. Cunningham’s Class). All ceremonies take place at 11am in St Michan’s Church, Halston Street.
Letters have been sent to all parents in advance of the ceremonies to provide some useful information on what to expect when they arrive at the church. I’ve attached a copy of the letter here:
In these strange times, these ceremonies take on even greater significance. Although the ceremonies will be more simplified than they have been in the past, Confirmation remains a very special moment for the young people, their families and the entire parish. We very much look forward to welcoming them.
